CAT Scanner
Key Aims:
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the skills and underpinning knowledge required to locate underground services using a CAT Scanner. Including: understanding services drawings, reasons for using locators, the theory of locating services and the correct use of cable avoidance tools.
COSHH
Key Aims:
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the skills and underpinning knowledge of substances deemed hazardous to health. Including: what hazardous substances are, the dangers of exposure and the steps necessary when using or working near COSHH.
Emergency First Aid
Key Aims:
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the skills and underpinning knowledge required to undertake basic emergency first aid. Including: first aid principles, managing an incident, assessing a casualty, performing CPR & managing an unconscious casualty including the recovery position, signs and symptoms of electrical burns
Fire Awareness
Key Aims:
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the skills and underpinning knowledge of fire awareness. Including responsibilities, evacuation procedures, fire classes, types of extinguisher and basic fire fighting of early stage fires
Fire Warden
Key Aims:
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the skills and underpinning knowledge required to act in the role of fire warden. Including understanding how fires start, fire dangers, fire safety measures and evacuation procedures.
Manual Handling

The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the skills and underpinning knowledge required to undertake manual handling activities safely. Including: legislation, risk assessments, controlling risks and safe manual handling techniques
